Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

Yes, all of management is evil. That is what they aspire to. Come on! This wasn't easy for them either. They did what they were asked to do. Those of you on this site that believe what the "let go" people are saying are crazy. Tomorrow when there are no more layoffs I hope you ignore all of this and go about your job and do everything you can to pull out of this. It is interesting how horrible this company is portrayed when they haven't had a layoff in 20 years even though all the other government contractors have. OMG there are so many stupid speculations out here that it is ridiculous. When you really look at who was let go, I know there are reasons to include no new hires so reduced training, lack of money for extras because of a low sales/cash year, poor performers, employees with discipline issues, etc. It is difficult because L-3 is not known for letting people go for anything and now that they had to make some cuts it must be a horrible company. All I can say is if you want to continue having layoffs or other cuts then continue to focus on the "what ifs" and not on the what can I do. This company is solid and has a good future, but if you don't believe it then leave. There are NO MORE scheduled layoffs. Does that mean there won't be, no but it is up to all of us to make sure there isn't. Step up and recognize that tough decisions had to be made to secure jobs for the other 4200 employees that are still at the company. Give me a break. I have worked at other companies that don't care about their employees, but L-3 is not one of them. Listen to the negative people and let them pull you down along with them, or step up to the plate and do your job.
