Keep in mind, too, that there are a lot of projects lost, coming to an end or slowing. As more and more people jostle for the charge codes, tension builds, tempers flare and some are going to say "f this!" and look for other employment. Corporate and CSW execs EXPECT this "voluntary turnover" and will not replace them as they go unless the job function was critical and couldn't be filled by colleagues. But truth be told, the layoffs start small as they expect a few fishermen to jump ship, anyway. Layoffs mean less chance for bonuses, pay raises, etc. The noose has tightened.. :(
