I am still here - waiting for the axe... The rating is a long story but I would not be surprised if I got cut... In peace with it though, there are greener pastures out there for sure... I am at the beginning of my career, no wife/kids, no mortgage, minimal loans and a bit of marketable skills. I totally get the stress that some of the folks with families have to endure, I am in a bit of a different situation as I just refuse to completely cave in and follow directions when they are retarded. Many good managers at RJ, yet, some of them are just stupid and unorganized - cannot follow the stupid, that's my issue. I know that many old timers remember better days, I've been around ~2 years and I don't see anything good around, there is no security, the pay is is average at best, benefits are getting worse. All of this is happening as the stock is hitting all time high and we reach record profits, firing on all four cylinders and there are good prospects for us to keep growing and expanding. So there is the disconnect here - why everyone keeps bitching while RJ is kicking ass in the marketplace. Well, the priorities have shifted. It's all about profits now, F the worker, F the country, F the customer, it's all about the shareholder. It does not have to be this way and we do not see it for some reason. Richard Branson thinks employees should be first, and it works very well for him - http://www.cutimes.com/2011/05/04/putting-employees-first-helps-richard-branson-succ
