Yeah, Michael, they bet big and either win or lose. A company this size plays a lot of gambles... the ones that win do great, the others are cut. Production is the name of the game in this business, you lose revenue or respect, you're out. So many gambles... but, they do have many irons in the fire which is why they gamble in the first place. L-3 is about making money for the investors, not for the people they temporarily create a few years of steady jobs for. It wouldn't sting so bad if they could stop the managers from raping division profit so much that no on else gets a fair shake. That is why we NEED the insiders that see this going down to make notes, dates, time, places, and project numbers, etc,.. then 6 months from now call the Inspector Generals office or w/e depending on customer.. things will happen then!
