Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Companies that have no opportunity to advance their people will end up with people that do not have the drive to advance. The executive leadership is to blame. DOEs need to stop blaming their mangers and be honest with themselves by admitting that they do not have the answers nor the power to change anything. They need to recognize that their managers are doing the best they can with what they got to work with. No one wants to see the company fail, but managers cannot make people work when there is no opportunity to advance. Lighten up director team.
