Thread regarding Manulife Financial Corp. layoffs

Manulife is wise and they have money to outsource step by step and avoid any legal consequences. First, they start outsource team and train them. After that they wait for some employees to go way as they don't assign any new work and run parallel teams. At last they start reorganization process and layoff local workers. Most of the foreign workers are not direct employee but employees of oursource partners (most of them are Indian based companies). Some of foreign workers don't even have proper work permit and poor health insurance but it's not Manulife problem as there are not their direct employees. Maybe not illegal but for sure unethical.
