Thread regarding Dynegy Inc. layoffs

Think about this, First is the loss of family wage "Blue Collar" industry and jobs. Made possible in part by the ever increasing cost of doing business in N.Y.State. Now we witness the inclusion of the next step. Educators, Nurses,and the support staff that goes with it. New York state is in big trouble. As tax revenue is reduced by the loss of big contributors the burden is pushed to the Land-owner. The land-owner either pays or doesn't. The burden is pushed to the next step. Skilled labor leaves the area for greener pasture. But there's the Governor and his staff on T.V. telling you how great they are. An economy based on deficit spending doesn't work! How many times does this have to be proven before we learn? Exercise your right and privilege to vote! Remember those who defend that privilege! Remake yourself however you need in order to remain proud and provide. Never forget that YOU are the asset and commodity!
