One enrollment employee would hand out cards with an 800 number or local Columbus area code. Sometimes, they would ask others to hand out the cards and the enrollment individual would be sure to place his or her name on the cards in order to recieve credit. Then, potential students would call in to sign up. The hook was the access Federal Funding for those in need. Students often didn't have transportation, so we would help find bus schedules.
