Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

It's true that CSAC released a Special Alert today on Cal Grant eligibility that only reflects accurate data for 4 schools. The first error they are to correct - which we have in writing from them - was a revised CDR for Salinas, which makes them eligible. The second issue is they are using erroneous IPED grad rates which have been revised and are awaiting confirmation, which would make all Heald campuses eligible. Additionally, CSAC should have used one year later data, as they have in all previous releases, but not this year for some suspicious reason. Whether 2008 grad rates are fixed or 2009 data is used, all Heald will be eligible. For the detractors of student and college success, that's sad news.
