Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

I was laid off yesterday. I had ample notice because of so many leaks from Central Admin. Took my sweet time getting to work and had a fresh Starbucks and a smile when I went into the "meeting". But I tell you this I was at my desk for 15 minutes and was still working. It's not about the leaders. I've never followed them or relied on them. It has always been about the people I helped. So I can say THANK YOU UOP. You gave me access to a LARGE network of upper level management professionals in my area. My résumé will be sent out to the masses with recommendations from prominent people in MY community.So, I'm gonna sit back and relax in the sun on UOPs dime, still. UOP trained me for something bigger and better. Keep doing what you do. But be prepared because this isn't ending any time soon.
