Heald's reputation or lack thereof can be better found either in glassdoor dot com with employee reviews or yelp dot com with customer reviews being the students. With regards to layoffs the best indicator is going to be student enrollment. If the January 2013 new student enrollment numbers are as BAD as they look at the moment then look for some MAJOR cost reductions. Either the income stream supports the current number of Heald employees or it doesn't. One thing is for sure, Heald has retired, let go, fired, etc. a good number of full time faculty and replaced them with disposable part time adjunct faculty.
