Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Almost everyone at my Campus was let go in the layoff and I’m still as UOP fan. I enrolled in the MBA program after I lost my last job. I was thrilled to take a position with UOP because I loved the quality of education and the support I received from my AA/FC. I got my bachelors degree from another online university and what should have taken 2 years took me 5. The MBA program took me 20 months because I took a break and had someone there to hold ma accountable to finishing when I said I would. I enjoyed working for UOP. I think a lot of people are bitter. I think the layoff could have been handled better but let’s face it many of our roles we had access to students personal information that the rotten apples out there could have used to negatively impact the students or the university. In the end I’m still proud to say “ I am a Phoenix”
