Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Here is cold hard truth why enrollment is down - no b/c of EA's. I worked as a student services tech for 3 months in UOP. In those 3 months I learned that I would never take a class at UOP. why you ask? The systems are not stable. They are consistent outages. The classroom structure is horrible, how do i know.... all the students complained about it. Any university's enrollment will be up and down based on reputation. If the student experience is bad, it will compound over the years where students themselves will not refer UOP. The management there I would say is dumb at best. Here is an example: I joined as tech. We have a new Director of IT. He decides lets split student support and employee support half and half. Great... NO its not great you moron!... did you bother to take a look at stats... no you didnt.. thats why there was que of 35 minutes on student line on average. There were 15-20 agents sitting and doing nothing for 1 hour at a time on the student line?....umm yeah very very dumb... here are students that bring in the money to you...and you dont provide the service to the cash cow? ...Now you know why your business is failing. Provide service to your students first! I would say more... but what do i know... oh yes i was smart enough to leave a sinking ship.
