Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

This is absolutely atrocious! The way this is being handled is quite sad and I feel so sorry for those that have lost their jobs. The rest of us are left feeling like we are walking on eggshells since everyone is still acting like this hasn't happened and we aren't supposed to know! Are we next? I can't believe this company is really smiling in our faces and planning to stick the knife in our backs. Where is the transparency. You have people with families and children who have to SCRAMBLE now, in under 6 weeks to find a means to survive! You didn't even give people a chance to make plans; a heads up, anything! It's deplorable. I am reworking my resume tonight and starting my search. We should all do a mass call off/strike.
