Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

For those of you complaining about transfer credits, your plight is not unique to UofP classes. Most universities will not accept transfer credits unless there's an agreement already in place (community colleges feeding into state institutions). All universities are about making money (regardless of profit/non-profit status) and they will do whatever they can to make you retake as many credits as possible. Not saying UofP is innocent, but it's misleading to act as though only their credits are turned away.
