Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Heald is that bad. A Lot of Heald's problem are out of its control. Sorry an AA degree for a "career" is totally worthless in Northern California. You need a BS degree. The employers that show up at Heald's career fairs are employers offering for the most part just "throw away" jobs that don't require a Heald degree. California community colleges offer a vastly superior education at almost NO cost so it is impossible to justify spending $22K for getting a medical assisting degree at Heald versus under $2K at Fresno City College. Also, medical assisting jobs are almost nonexistent and start off at $9 an hour.
