Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Future CCI layoffs will depend on campus enrollments. CCI's official line is that enrollments will be stable for the next couple of quarters. Those in the trenches being CCI salespeople say otherwise. Unofficially, CCI is expecting an up to 20% drop in enrollment because of all the bad press and individual states (mostly California) crackdown on state financial aid. The following Everest Campuses are at most risk : 1. Portland, OR and Honolulu, HI because of Heald College. CCI is likely to be moving the "cattle", "bodies", (aka students) over to Heald 2. Everest campuses in Southern California are likely to be consolidated with some taught out because of the adverse regulatory environment. 3. If your Everest campus is in a reasonably well educated part of the country then expect even greater enrollment declines than if your campus is with lots of people not reasonably well educated. The days of the easy $100K+ salaries for the salespeople seem to be long gone.
