Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

I quit and never looked back except with astonishment. The execution of the business model is horrible! The ads with the dude wearing a sideways baseball cap is a joke! Catering to the highest levels of at-risk students who for the most part are not only lacking in educational fundamentals, but also social skills. Sadly there's no way in hell the vast majority of those students will ever attain meaningful employment, hence a high default rate and sub-par graduation rates. CCi should bite the bullet and hire qualified instructors, pay them comparable salary and hold their feet to the fire for class room management and curriculum delivery with an "objective" grading system. FA, Admission and Career Services should quit BSing these kids and adults. It is unconscionable, unethical and morally wrong to saddle a youngster with a $20K-$40K loan for which they will most likely default affecting their credit worthiness and be saddled with for the rest of their adult life until paid. That is just straight-up wrong! CCi has had more than enough time to clean house and fix what is wrong, but all they care about is showing profit to share holders through continued expansion never bothering to create a critical mass of quality education. Had they done so, the rest would follow including profit and success. I say this with no malice or vindictiveness, but I've been there, done that.
