Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Of course CCI is meeting its payroll. The massive layoffs really are a cumulation of a LARGE number of SMALL layoffs. Many people who are laid off are getting fired because it avoids the stigma of a layoff. CCI has such a high turnover in the lower levels including instructors that it does not have to do many layoffs to have an employee headcount reduction. Simply don't replace those that are voluntarily quitting. At some point I suspect CCI corporate is going to do some layoffs at HQ as the student enrollment continues to drop at likely close to a 10% per quarter rate. Most likely corporate HQ bigshots that get laid off will get a golden parachute.
