Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Heald College as pointed out is a big fraud. Heald recent graduates are spreading the word that they can't find jobs and have over $20K of student loan debt. The Heald College Presenters going to local high schools are getting EXTREMELY POOR numbers. The local high school teachers are also spreading the word that Heald is a ripoff. Losing Cal Grants is a big problem for Heald resulting in a large number of students telling Heald "I won't be coming.". Heald is starting to get some pretty BIG negative reviews on yelp dot com and many employers no longer hire Heald Graduates due to "poor student outcomes". Heald is finding out the hard way that poor customer experiences don't just go away. The poor customer experiences being graduates of the last 2 years from the CCI regime are spreading the word out on the street that "Heald is a ripoff", "Where is my promised high paying job?", "The only people that show up at Heald Career Fairs are for throw away jobs at the retail mall", "Your credits don't transfer to the state colleges". Heald having received WASC SR accreditation in July 2012 is going to set up BS degree programs in Business and at Fresno a BS in nursing. Only problem is that it is not clear that Heald can find the students. An AA degree in and of itself is simply worthless in the pursuit of a "professional" career. For IT, you need a BS degree for ANY entry level job. ALL of the Heald HealthCare programs are worthless at least to the extent that we have a HUGE GLUT of graduates in all of the offered disciplines. Heald will go around and make claims that Medical Assisting is a "booming field" and the "jobs pay real well" without telling you that to get an MA job requires 2 years of experience and your Heald externship employer won't hire you but simply get another extern after yours is completed. Experienced MAs make about $13 an hour which makes it pretty difficult to pay back your over $20K student loan for the A.A.S. degree. Then Heald will try to sell you for an extra $10K the general education requirements for an A.A. degree without telling you that you can get all the general education requirements at the local Community College for a $1K or even FREE if you qualify for financial aid.
