Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

To all those Heald counselors going around telling the prospective students that Heald will be eligible for Cal Grants on July 1, 2013. Here is a BIG REALITY CHECK. The reality is that the Cal Grant Ban is for TWO YEARS and that Heald won't be eligible until July 1, 2014. Also the maximum grant in 2014 will be $4,000. Heald administrators are telling the counselors that "in one year we will get Cal Grants back". Nice theory but CSAC is saying otherwise.
