Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Heald sales representatives (aka counselors, admissions, etc.) are being laid off due to the lack of production. (e.g. not enough sales). They are also told to "dress for success" to "close the sale". Heald also plans on getting as many of the AA graduates (especially those that are not working) into their new BS (and it really will be a LOT of BS) degree programs in business. That way they can keep the student default loan rate down as one is in school and keep "getting them student loan dollars". The sales pitch includes mentioning that you won't have to deal with transferability of Heald courses to other schools (since they don't) and you can simply hang around and incur another $40K+ of student loan debt. Heald losing Cal Grant eligibility is hurting enrollments BIG TIME.
