The biggest problem with UOP is leadership's expectation that managers withhold information or outright lie to advisors. Their is very little integrity and honesty in upper management. When companies are planning layoffs, they will typically let their staff know so they can prepare. Uop loves to hold this info and or lie about it because they (upper management) has no ability to cope with conflict. All they know to do is threaten workers with DMs and WWs. The middle management is the weak link and all need to be replaced or UOP will be a mere memory.
