Thread regarding California InterContinental University layoffs

CalUniversity is your standard garden variety of a for-profit school - really, everything here is standard, degrees, prices, etc. All for profit sector is struggling, primarily because students are very careful with their investments and all of the for profit are very pricey (not as Harvard but still...) With this in mind, I just don't see the school surviving this decade, the student enrollment is to continue to drop, it's going to be more expensive to operate and student's will simply become more savvy and will flock to schools that can actually help you find a job after you are done with coursework.
