Everest is shutting down in Northern California

Everest is shutting down in Northern California. CCI is trying to encourage those going to Everest to go to Heald. Heald College aka Heald High aka Heal with a D aka Heald had it yesterday has some BIG problems. CCI bought Heald and ran it in to the ground. Heald's BSN at Fresno is a day late and a dollar short. Northern California has a huge glut of unemployed nurses and we have entire graduating classes of RNs from public community colleges that can't find jobs.

Heald no longer being eligible for Cal Grants makes it even worse. You can go to a public community college for FREE on Cal Grants and have money left over for living expenses versus going to Heald College for a POORER education and a diploma whose credits WILL NOT transfer to a 4 year school for a BS degree. You need a BS degree at least in Northern California for ALL of the programs that Heald offers in order to be considered for an ENTRY level job. Heald College presenters are hearing it from : 1. High school teachers teling them flat out that they are no longer recommending to their graduates to go to Heald 2. High school administrators telling Heald presenters that they are no longer being recommended by the administration 3. Employers discontinuing their relationships with Heald because of the poor "student learning outcomes". In many cases, over 2 out of 3 Heald graduates are terminated from their first job out of Heald. Heald has an unwritten rule that ONLY the top 10% of their graduates will be strongly recommended. The Heald "job assistance for life" is a big JOKE and if you are NOT in the top 10% then you won't be getting any assistance.
