Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

I taught at Everest for over 7 years. I never asked for a raise as it was part-time, for $1700 a course. I enjoyed my students and their evaluations showed they enjoyed me. Most of the instructors, the good ones, were there to teach and frankly make a few extra bucks. It wasn't until the slide of this company that many of us saw the light. I have a bad taste in my mouth about the private education sector in general now. They have lost my skills. I will not be returning.
