The GE rule is not yet dead because as a matter of routine course the DOE is likely to appeal the district court ruling. Also the GE still may come back to life assuming Congress makes it a statutory provision of law.

CCI along with almost ALL for profit schools face a dismal future because at some point the Feds will ban them from student loan aid. It is pretty self evident that the student loans made to for profit schools in most cases are likely never to be paid back and with over $1 Trillion of student loan debt outstanding the problem of non performing student loans can not be swept under the rug anymore.
