I don't know about other places, but I don't have much regard for admissions reps...I had a student who could not read admitted, several convicted felons (CSC, Credit card, and check fraud) Alot of ATB's, severe mental disorders, where they missed school to be institutionalized, etc.) Beside just collecting that pay check, how do you sleep knowing you are getting in such quality students???
I have also had students question me on credit transfer from the certificate MA program, hello....that does not happen here....but Admissions reps tell them, "oh yes those credit will transfer to a 2 or 4 year, your instructor does not have her facts right". Really? Students checked, found out the instructor didn't lie.
So I would stop the boasting, you may do what you need to do to feed your family, and that’s ok. You have your job now, but each of us are only a pay check away from disaster.... Think about what you say, and pretend others are attacking you, how does it feel?
Look I have been at meetings where admission reps have brought in comments from this site, then the administration and reps comb the site looking for comments about their institution, please, is that what employees are paid for?
