July is going to be a big month for Heald. If Heald loses eligibility for Cal Grants then expect massive layoffs as the sole private lender for Heald is likely to not offer loans in September 2012.
The faculty are getting upset that the admissions, FA, and administration are paid better. One dean told the faculty that unfortunately Heald needs to actually go through the motions of teaching.
The other news is that individual programs will be going through teach outs. The IT programs are likely to fade into oblivion over the next 12 to 18 months.
