First, I don't think you really know just who the posters are, so your statement seems a tad bit unfair. Perhaps the posters are current/past employees who worked their ass off, tried to actually teach the students, not participate in illegal or wrongful activities, and really cared about what they did.
I don’t know about then, but let me see, correcting 400 pages of homework each week, constant meetings, no breaks or lunch because your either making copies, making calls, meeting with students, or meeting with administration for some dumb ass reason, constantly working on your planner, activity list, or what ever else administration throws you way, doing grades, etc. etc…. Your right most instructors don’t do anything to earn their check.
Sure there are some slugs; however, a lot of us work our ass off (more than 40 hours) as part time instructors.
Second, how in heck would you know who gets paid what?
Third, I think those figures depend on the area, no one here makes that kind of money (except perhaps the President, or DOE).
Fourth, perhaps that is why CCI is in the shape it is in, no one cared enough back then to do anything about it, and stop the madness, or perhaps as now, no one higher up gives a rat’s ass about the problems as long as they collect their pay. You make waves, ask questions, refuse to go along, your done.
Last, hope you’re not the admissions rep that admits the student who couldn't read, have felony convictions (knowing they may not get certified), can’t speak English, or really understand it, do not have a high school diploma (that’s stopping in July), have obvious drug or alcohol, have poor or failing admissions scores etc. etc.
You know sometimes companies get all wrapped up in making money, they get greedy; they fail to actually manage, monitor, and take control. What is happening now, I believe is a result of this.
