Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

L-3 did their 3rd layoff in under 12 months a week ago (October 4th, 2010) effecting 65 engineers. The software department has been cut by 50% in the last 12 months. This round included 4 managers, and they picked the wrong ones of course. Katherine Howard, the software director, is actively looking for work. Bob Redmond, the VP of Engineering, is a bully who yells at the engineering staff for making him look bad or disagreeing with him over any issue no matter how trivial. The emperor has no clothes. Just don't tell him.
