Southern Region Management Cuts

Any word on possible cuts to management in the southern region? Which departments would be cut? What if you're a manager with less than five years on the railroad?

I heard it is northwest making the cuts Portland area preparing to loose few more managers. Was told they were cutting 30 percent workforce last year so shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

it was at the same time a few months ago when they got rid of the regional avps. also did the same to some lower level managers. some were demoted. some were escorted off property.

When/where did all the firings and demotions of managers in the south take place? I noticed people were missing but I figured they were all just doing the smart thing and quitting.
