You know things are not going well when managers who have it made here are leaving NetApp for greener pastures. I know of two who quit in the past month.
If anybody was waiting for a clear sign that it's time to leave this place - that certainly qualifies as one in my book.
It will never end
Managers across the board in PS are being let go with entire teams. This is happening throughout the USA in all regions.
At which NetApp location are managers leaving? If in Sunnyvale, this is common practice. People there are leaving to go to Amazon, Palo Alto Networks, etc. NetApp has a high turnover rate in CA but not in other locations.

I quit today. It is not because I have a new job. I quit because NetApp is toxic. I’m over it. This is the last day I will ever visit this forum. Do yourselves a favor. Think of your dignity before any company. The longer you stay with a company like NetApp, the further away you get from being yourself. I don’t wish NetApp on my worst enemy.
Many leaders (WW SERVICES) are already gone. Cindy Warner (VP&GM) is at the top. Message her on LinkedIn if you don’t believe it’s true. She was laid off 4/26. Her layoff impacted 2200 people below her as well. I believe that’s where the 2500 number is coming from. This is been mentioned historically but the posts get deleted.
The secrecy with departures is a big red flag too. Many leaders out of Sunnyvale have resigned. If we post names, these posts get deleted. Fact is it’s happening and will continue. Losers will continue to ride the wave until the ship sinks. DOJ is investigating them for multiple reasons including cooking the books. It seems their past is catching up with them. Let them burn.
