Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Lowes Yorktown Heights, N.Y. Hey Marvin.... get Hilco on Line One

Yes sir stick a fork in this train wreck! It must make all Lowes c-suite lackeys and hedge fund masters giving each other high fives. Here's what customers think of a brand new store in Yorktown Heights, N.Y. ! I wonder if investors really understand how bad things are if you realize these corporate leaders can't get a grand opening store on track. Seems like a waste of shareholders money to open in a market and be this bad. I hope Hilco is on speed dial...…….

Same exact thing happened at the Norwalk store and, also like the Yorktown store in planning before Marvin. I think the original SM planned for the Yorktown store would have made a difference. I bet he's making a difference as a Market guy. I know for a fact they wanted to staff both stores with experienced people but they are unwilling to pay for it. I'm not sure about the Yorktown store but, I drove right past the Norwalk store and others even with the NAV on. Lowe's has a knack of playing hide and seek in some locations. A large business owner with 50K LAR?, I have 30K on my LCC and could easily get it upped to 50K. Another guy nickel and diming us, we make no money trying to pick up these fly by night contractors. Our real contractors will not be seen in the store unless its for a meeting. The "contractors" that ask you how to hook up a dryer and tell you how much money they spend at the store, are the same type of people that tell you how busy they are at work and how much they do. Our Regional focus, outdated systems and third party use are the cause of the problems. Until those areas are fixed, Lowes needs to eat the payroll and start putting staff on the floor.

Your sister store in orangeburg ny is even worse. i stopped going there 6 months ago when no one was at the desk or picked up the phone. I am a large business owner. I took all my business elsewhere and closed my LAR account with Lowe's with a credit limit of 50k.

I havent been happier since I left. I never realized how incompetent and stressful dealing with Lowes was until I went elsewhere. Many I talk too say the same thing. That Lowes is fallking apart and they have left or are leaving
