Don't be fooled by these stupid press releases. Anybody who knows anything about Genpact knows they are based in India, not New York. They were founded by Indians and that's where their huge outsourced accounting centers are located. They simply have corporate offices in New York to manage their U.S. client relationships. The only Genpact people who will be in Bentonville are the "liaison" staff who will need daily personal communication with Walmart's senior financial people. The vast majority of these accounting jobs are headed straight for India!!

These canned responses!!! LIARS!

“This was a difficult decision that affects friends and associates we care about deeply," a Walmart spokesperson said in a statement. "We appreciate their important contributions, and we’re committed to handling every transition over the next seven months smoothly and respectfully. We are maintaining a corporate presence in Charlotte. As our company continues evolving, we’ve said we must strike the right balance between managing the needs of our business, our associates and our customers."

Walmart could care less about the people they are letting go! All they see in WIN numbers that add an expense to a balance sheet!

Do these companies realize that we know that these canned responses are a bunch of lies??

Be honest FFS! Here's a start....

"In an effort to save money throughout the company to dump into the money pit known as ecommerce we have decided to outsource this part of the business! The company we outsourced to is able to save us money by employing most of their help in India and the Philippines! It wouldn't be this way if those pesky Americans didn't expect a living wage and health insurance!"
