Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

For months I have read the many comments about the layoffs and today it happens to be my time to add mine. First, For all of my former coworkers that were laid off or are about to be terminated, there is Life beyond this point. If you were employed for a number of years I would assume that you have gained great knowledge and experience at Pepsico and you would be in a position to offer a lot to other Companies. You are to be proud of your accomplishments. Second, the job Market is hot now and your skills are in high demand. The key is to prepare a good Resume and tell a great story about your accomplishments and how you can add value. When you apply and get interviews with Companies, be objective and positive about you former Employer this will carry you forward in the hiring process. Third, spend time with yourself and family and remain positive and humble. This is your life and you must take control of the situation and be a great Leader. Trust me, Life will be better after PepsiCo. I left on my own after so many years with the Company and that was the best decision I made for me and my family. I am happier and with a renewed outlook in life and I would not trade this for anything else. There is and should be life after Pepsico.
