That headcount number hasn’t been updated since March. At that time it was 1400 I believe. Anyone still employed can find the numbers. The rest of you. Move along why you stalking your old gf.

if you will look on the pdf version of the 2020 updates on the up news page, one of the metrics is actually Headcount, yes headcount is how it is listed (maybe they shoulda added that to the "employee pride" loco). Anyway it is showing a year to date decline in "headcount" of a little over a thousand souls. Yes I have been toying with the idea of copying that info and sending it to some anti corpate greed news agencies to see how up likes a little publicity. Just funny that ford, carrier, and others have been flamed by the media for laying off so many working class American's and UP does the same and seems to get a pass by national media.
