How about we all just take a few weeks off and sit by the beech. Cold beer, bbq, and no worries. My mind is absolutely worn out from worrying about whether or not I have a job each week. I think we should all finally start to recognize that life is too short for all of this aggravation. Rather than worrying so much, I think I’m going to spend more time focusing on my family, myself, and doing things that will ultimately ween me off of depending on my job at PepsiCo. I’m taking back control of my life. PepsiCo.... You are no longer as important to me as you once were. I’ll do my job until the day I choose to quit or you finally let me go. Either way, I will begin taking back control of my life. And one day I’ll be done with you; sooner than later I hope.

How did u get so lucky?? I'm crossing my fingers every Friday hoping I'll see hr wheezing down the stairs to hand me the release papers....
Did you steal my story? Sounds just like mine. Well then I’m not alone!
Someone told me years ago once you don’t give a sh-- whether they lay you off you will be liberated. And for the past 5 years I’ve been saying “ please lay me off”. It took five years and they finally did. June 28 is my last day and I could not be happier. They refuse to give retirement gifts to some people after telling them to treat it like retirement. Yet the entire corporate area is getting their retirement gifts. The inequality in HR is astounding. But HR is neither. Not human and definitely not resourceful. They make up rules as they go and they only do for those they want. Everyone has their number and no one trusts them so someday they will become obsolete by their own hands.
