GTS north america got hammered today. Many many many head counts. Me included :(

I heard most SE's in GTS Managed Applications were let go. Salespeople who were at 0% are somehow safe. It does NOT matter your performance at IBM, one way or the other. Layoffs happen and you can be impacted no matter which end of the spectrum you reside.
I heard in AZ that one family was hit. 1 was in IS and 1 was in TSS. Both got RA’D. 5 in AZ were ra’d. I’m not sure if Cali got hit
TSS and IS both got hit today, myself included. Been talking to other SSRs in other cities and it sounds like almost every city in the country lost people. SSRs that got moved to IS last year are also getting laid off.
TSS Systems Service Representitives (SSRs -formerly known as Customer Engineers, or CE). I heard 7 in Dallas, similar numbers in Houston & Austin.
