Truthfully I read here that the line is:
"We will come out stronger" for those knocking the disgruntled. How much growth is there in a company that has ALL its assets within 150 miles of each other? We will NEVER need more people, without that need there is little room for growth of a career.
And with the strange requests and reports being requested across the company of dark little corners of assets we are seeing I bet that info is for the sell of pioneer. Even the most senior, loyal, & level headed individuals of the company are walking the halls saying "I get the distinct feeling it isnt over" the only way forward as a company is to merge buy or sell. And if we buy that's additional headcount so even less opportunity for advancement.
In fact I'd bet money that the August Award will accomplish 2 things. 1. Eliminate the extra overhead of top producers and exceeding ratings for the worthless calibrations. And 2 hopefully put more stock in out pockets before the sell so we get a larger payout when the company is sold by years end. I truly hope that is the case.
Either way they are dangling the carat of money to everyone to try and stop the normal attrition of folks who weren't let go in the purge. And let's call it what it was a purge.
