Where everything takes 5 minutes and they stick all the leaders that have no clue what they are doing. This program has more bullc-ap involved in it now than ever. Scan this barcode, scan scan scan. How about downstock and make sure bays are full and forget about scanning. What do they scan at the corporate office when they are sitting there with their heads ip their azzes.

In short...the MST Program is broken and the vendors will see that soon, thereby sending their own reps back into the stores to take care of their product and then the vendors will sue Lowe's for failing to merchandise their product according to negotiated agreements.
It wouldn't be broken if Regional stayed out of it, Smart project is being used as a management tool by regional, filtered down to market and well....like everything else from the overload of stock down to painting signs things are not going well. If you would like to know how the MSA team is doing, call the SM. I went outside the box this week, for only two days, and played a game by having the team log into a bay for around an hour and complete the service. We managed to prepare for Fathers day by putting away all the freight in tool world, the front drive and back drive aisles are the best they looked in 3 months. Our store Manager has bought us lunch for the second time since February and every employee has told us how hard we work. My only goal on the job is to make the team and store happy not corporate or regional. I happen to like my market bosses but, I just don't see them keeping all of us around much longer...way to many layers. I have made it more than clear that I may need a job but, It doesn't have to with Lowes. ( I retired from somewhere else) A great many people I have met during my eight years are much better than they think. A lot of you can do better and I hope you will.
One of the PSAs who transitioned has told me straight out the MST thing is badly broken, especially the freight flow/downstocking/IRPs/pricing parts..
