Would you really want to be in the US auto industry right now?
Greed gone wild and they cant sell a car to save their lives.
I feel bad for my brothers and sisters that are still working for Cersei but,
the GM collapse will be fun to watch

GM is a multinational company, not an American company.
It has no loyalty to America or American workers.
It's all about maximizing profits.
Execs ABD and AB leaving in February for greener pastures. They can see the writing on the wall for GM and are privy to a lot more info than we are. You dont just bail on a corporate exec position like that unless the bus is on fire.
D Day was June 6.
Company profits go to the share holders, who are international.
I can call a stockbroker and buy shares of Toyota as easily as GM.
The only thing that makes GM an "American " company is the CEO lives in the US.
Buy American, Jeep. Today was DDay
What is an American car one poster asked. An American car is one whose profits come back to America. You may say that Toyota is more American because of its domestic made part content, although true the overall profit of that Toyota is not staying here that GM or Ford product is. Ok so you say that Toyota is built by Americans true once again but also true is that truck that's made in Fort Wayne. How about that nice shiny Nissan? Well again profits are not coming back to America, and do you know what that profit is being used for? Terrorism is a big possibility. Have you thought for a moment back to what happened in Ww2 when we were attacked on our own soil? GM and Ford plants converted to build machinery, vehicles, tanks, etc to help out in the war effort. History tends to repeat itself, do you think for one minute a Toyota, or Honda plant would convert easily to help the American effort? That's a question I can't answer but it's probably a no.
As another poster stated, it's 'fun' to watch GM collapse is just wrong. Think aside from yourself of all the employees past and present that benefit from GM as well as the communities that benefit from this once great company. Growing up as a GM brat, working as a Summer hire at the local plant as a press operator, then being transferred to the office because of my major in college. My summer job was over, my old boss called me back 2 years later and offered me an IT job. I was severed with the best of the best this past February. I am saddened by the job loss and am having a hard time finding a job. My own Father had the same skill set as MBs, provided for a family of four and carefully saved his money retiring after 37 years of service in 1994. He is still in excellent health at 81. If GM were to collapse, my Father and Mother rely on his pension, who would hire him at this point? Even though saddened I will continue to support GM and hope that they figure out whatever the heck they are doing. I don't want to see my parents, their friends families, current employees etc suffer and no one should want that either. Too many American jobs have been lost in this great country of ours. Best of luck to all.
What's an American car?
A BMW made in South Carolina, or a Silverado made in Mexico?
It isn't fun to watch this at all, it's a damn shame Americans don't buy American cars, GM set the tone for the reason why employees and others don't want to buy GM! It is completely the company at fault. Manage the company the proper way and maybe there wouldn't be big problems like this.
Referring to GM as "Cersei" gives them too much credit. She was very intentional with her decisions and extremely intelligent.
GM is simply horribly mismanaged.
"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."
They'll find something better
There's nothing wrong with greed, it's the reality of the world we live in but you better check your hate. If it's 'fun' to watch GM collapse then you don't feel bad for your brothers and sisters at all.
