Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Unfiltered 2.0

If management is serious about identifying people that provide no value then look no further than our very own talk show host. Who am I kidding? This Fake news show host will probably get some sort of executive promotion. Continuing this spreading of propaganda is a embarrassment to stockholder especially when we are $2 stock company.

They need Ricky Bobby back on unfiltered. Some one said Rick Bobby was on his way out, but Ricky Bobby has been down and out before and still pulled off a win. There is still allot of fat to cut in OKC, but the most meaningful change would be replacing worthless middle management. Can we get some one who cares about people and company goals? I would be happy with management that just cared about company goals only...

I don’t think anyone is directly or indirectly mad at Jerry Springer. I think when we all look around and actually see people of value being let go or leaving on their own due to frustration and then this choreographed BS is thrown into everyone’s face. This is just a slap in the face of people who bring actual value to stockholders. This is almost as fake as a certain Human Resource personal who continues to fake his accent. (Seriously! Drop the accent and act already! Your not fooling anyone!)

-The story your about to see it true. The names have been changed to protect the guilty.-

Are you mad at Goober? He is a professional broadcaster and "at the end of the day" is producing tangible results. You can actually see the work he has done which makes him a top ten performer.

Unfiltered is an invaluable resource were we can see what management says or better yet doesn't say. With out unfiltered we would have no access to the mind of management. "At the end of the day" its good to hear Goober lead management in an upbeat song and dance that is very well choreographed.

If oil prices don't rise it's "at the end of the day." Don't blame Goober for this. Would you blame the band on the Titanic as it played music while the ship sank into the abyss? We are $10-11B in debt and we are taking on more water. Let the man do his job and get back to yours (or better yet go home and don't come back). "At the end of the day" Goobers webcast is far better then ks free style rap. (That c-ap embarrasses the hell out of me and I am not even in the room.)

And on a side note:

Ricky Bobby's salary isn't even a rounding error or much less a significant digit in our problems. Laissez-faire and self interested management is the problem. We are still spending dollars to save dimes.

This is how we roll at CHK:

Take on a crazy big projects to put on your resume, inflate the budget so you can cut it later for a bonus multiplier, spend all your money "trying to figure it out", go one way then the other like a squirrel in the road, make sure you control everything so no one steals your glory, get ran over by the project, blame it on the team, cut the whole project and the team for another bonus multiplier, let some peon present the project in a town hall (to build his leadership skills), go to creek side and tell your friends "if we had AMC money we could have paid some one else to do it", go the Christmas party, pick up the flat screen tv on you way in, glad hand senior management, drink to much, avoid getting caught checking out the new trophy wives, go home hammer, and make the budget for next year.
