Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Life expectancy......

A VPA once asked me:. "Do you know what the life expectancy of an adjuster is after retirement?". I said: "I have no idea!". He said: "Three years!". I don't know about any of you but there is no job worth living just three years after retirement! NO JOB PERIOD! The stress of the environment and constantly dealing with negative not only from customers but also from management and the machine, does not make the job an attractive career. The good ol days are gone except for those getting the HUGE bonuses. The "Deep State" within State Farm will s--- every last piece of humanity out of you and careless about you and your family. Cut em off at the pass before they raid your inner sanctum.

The only thing money will never buy is time. Don't waste it! They aren't worth it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. The best part of our beloved country is the freedom of speech and our beloved Constitution. The benefits are never easy. Patience and ability to work through the differences provides value. Let's continue to work together so that through our mutual efforts we an bring back the values that made and will continue to keep State Farm the best for both internal and external customers.

Would you like to sit down and talk about this? I am not angry. Stop your psychobabble garbage. I didn't mess up. I'm retired. Just keep sending me that check. I'm not divorced with children, paying my ex, paying college tuitions, and sitting in a cubicle waiting to die. What's there to be angry at? I'm not 400 lbs sitting in a cubicle eating psych meds. I'm happy and living my life. What's sad is people like you who hate what you do wasting time because you are too hooked on their d--gs to do anything else. That's what is really sad. Admit that.

Very sad that after two years, you still sound angry when you should be moving on. Maybe you should start by admitting you messed up and didn’t voluntarily quit. Sad.

That's exactly what they want to do is break you mentally by buying into thinking they are doing good to you when, in fact, even a person without a college psych degree knows they are screwing you. Be alert! Navigate around their deception and be prepared. Beat em at their own game in their own ballpark. They trained you how to do it. Hint hint.

I never followed up and practiced my Psych Major, but clearly this person has mental issues. If anyone of the nine previous points were true, especially caring about what others think, this OP wouldn’t be on this site and wouldn’t feel the need to defend themself and attack others.

1. Wrong on # of offices.

2. I'll put my production up against anyone in my job class. Triple.

3. I care less about what other people think of me except my wife who unlike others at SF couldn't keep.

4. If you're still working there and are not happy why not quit like I did? No guts no glory.

5. Jealous? Lived to high on the hog that you can't retire or find another job?

6. Behavior? Typical! The whole reason is I was making too much money with my Kalifornia wages. More Jealousy. They used every sissy excuse to ride me out cause I was overpaid. Funny ageism is mentioned. Funny my neighbor had same happen.

7. I planned to go out anyway. Financial planner told me I should have left two years before I did even after a consultant told me I couldn't retire.

8. I loved the customer. I loved my job and respected it until the company disrespected the internal customers.

9. Anyone who can honestly say they love their job as much as they did 15 years ago and is still there must be on Adderall, Prozac, alcohol, d--gs etc OR they are not honest.

If anyone worked more than 5 minutes with the OP, you know exactly who he is. Had CA taken care of him in the 30 yrs. he was there rather than moving him to 9, 10, 11 different offices across the State, then gifting him with relo, TN wouldn’t have had to document his behavior and actually force him to retire. So thanks for that. Any conspiracy talk or 2nd Amendment preaching is just to get a rise out those of us still working. This site used to have some real scoop. I’m

Done with it now . Disappointed .. ugh

To person who mentioned clown! Wilkomme to Kalifornia. They don't believe in the 1st nor second amendment. If you think different than they do, the want to silence you. Live free and make your own choices. That's what diversity is about. Be inclusive and you may learn more.

dumb--ses! Close the door. The horse got out! Too late. Your 401K match ain't gonna be worth c-ap. Ever ask yourself why they wanna get out of paying a pension? Cost too much. See how they sell you a bill of goods making you think it is better when in the long run you get the shaft. Remember, they are out for them and careless about you.

If that person left CA they moved up in the world with all the tents, d--gs, homeless etc. They can't be that clownish.

Hearsay is inadmissable. The real clown is the one that had to go to USAA or can't retire and get out of the Kremlin. 😂. SF is a was.

Don’t let this clown fool you. We were glad when he left CA. Heard he was later forced to retire for unacceptable behavior. Not sure how long he’s been gone but his handwriting is all over this site. Should have been fired years ago. His anger is misdirected.
