Wow... Six glowing 5-star reviews for SG today (29th May) in Glassdoor... :-)
I've never seen such an avalanche of positive reviews like that before...
Maybe things magically got better overnight :-)

Yes agreed, there is something incredibly rotten in the Sydney office. It's also amazing how that office seems to be magically protected from any heavy retrenchments that go on elsewhere in the world.
To me, feels like dirty managers protecting their dirty minions, and that's what keeps that whole poisonous ecosystem going.
This fish is rotting from the head...
I'm an ex employee(Sydney office). This is the worst company I ever worked so far. Politics and biased management. Hard work and dedication has no value there. If you are managers 'favorite' you don't have to work properly or follow company policies. I'm happy that I'm out of that toxic place.
Scientific Games is a great technology-related company; the mid-leadership level does good jobs as an individual and as a team for itself!! The Down part, one of several, was the mid-level leader is not integrated from the strategically planning nor its effectiveness can't be achieved as planned.
From the company TOP Stock value ($65/share in mid-2018) and dropped to around $20 around October. Followed up with structured with several of its divisions, its share still around $20 (as of 8/1/19) today. Lay-off as a mean to cut and save, at the same time, it is bringing up the capable members to shine... So far, it has not shone yet. I have been working for Bally/SG over ten years and very sad about seeing a star in falling / not shine as of the current day!!
Typical glowing reviews from bangalore india. wonder who forces them to write those reviews. possibly one of the worst work environment ever. Chicago 9th floor recently had one major group laid off.
astroturfing company reviews is not out of the realm of possibility.... if it's true, it's really funny how bad they are at it, though. of course, nothing is done or run well at this company, so noone should be surprised.
A lot of posts from India and other use similar language between multiple posts. Makes you wonder doesn't it?
Yeah, ok. Is there a smidgen of sarcasm in that statement? ;)
