Shane for anyone - but it’s about time France got hit with redundancy, too protected and costing Millions to keep them afloat, GE has lost the focus - we need more employees on the front line as managers are being dragged down to do the work of people below who they’ve had to allow to leave forced (UK), yet others who would happily leave for a redundancy deal are not allowed to go - so attitude and moral is low. Passion is high but GE doesn’t integrate well with Alstom and it’s a shambles being led from USA who have no idea how to keep business running whilst implementing multiple new systems, process, rules.... get me out of here !
GE executives will continue to enjoy their European boondoggles. I am curious how many trips across the Atlantic have been made by GE Executives. How does this expense and overhead get charged to actual projects (sales or service) so GE can be sure there is an actual return on investment? Shipping a massive gas turbine from France to Greenville to be validated? Really? Who was the Einstein that thought this made financial sense? Should have been manufactured in Greenville to begin with.
