We had someone “hired” but never showed up, they remained the schedule for three months.

It sounds like nothings changed. They’ve been doing that for years. My guess is, they do it so if corporate checks their schedule they can claim they had the department staffed. I knew a girl I worked with had put in her two weeks notice. After 1 week she stopped showing up. 3 weeks later the ASM claimed she was no call, no show. I called her in front of that ASM. She said he was the one that gave her, her final paycheck and filled out her final paper work. I quit the next morning. I refuse to work for unethical people.
