Based on all ive heard this seems to be the way things are gonna go down. A volume stores 1 to 2 ASMs and 2 to 3 dept supervisors. B volume stored 1 ASM and 3 dept supervisors. C and D will get no ASMs just 3 dept supervisors, possibly 2 dept supervisors and 1 to 2 hourly with keys (keyholders). The layoffs will happen tuesday and could go into wed. Fulltimers who make more then what there position pays will be laid off. The remaining will be made keyholders. Stores that lose large amounts of ASMs will pull dept supervisors from other stores. So basically if you dont meet this then you will be laid off. Not sure if there will be a package, but assume lawsuits will be heavy with no package. After this then they will close stores. This is all speculation. Hopefully my post wont get deleted like the rest have.

It makes sense for C and D. Many of those stores have converted the ASM role to be Operation Dept Supervisor positions.
You are right. Usually layoffs happen in the middle of the week not Tuesday but since today is a holiday they won’t pay holiday pay. Sneaky.
If there are no layoffs then how come the company doesnt make everyone feel more secure in their jobs?
There are no layoffs. Stop with the c-ap......
ALL store associates are hourly EXCEPT the store manager
Me too. Cleaning out my stuff and saying goodbye. I hope you all are happy now. Keep hiring in corporate and fire the people who make the company money. We don’t work on commission but we sure act like we do. Best of luck to everyone.
This really makes me upset. I LISTEN to you and tomorrow I plan on cleaning my locker because I am one of those high paid full timers.at least I wouldn't be off guard if it's true
Department Supervisors are hourly? Your C & D makes no sense
Probably tomorrow
So when are the SMs told so they can fix coverage?
