Amazon will look at buying Lowes HARD now that Marvin made it such a bargain. We have facilities to sell large items not available with current state of amazon. Think paint, lawn tractors, lumber, fertilizer, live plants, etc.
lighting would be showroomed, but lighting accessories could be picked up or pulled at pick up of the main item.
Amazon would give all the parasites parachutes. Heck they could even open HQ2 in Charlotte since it was on their short list.
Paco is in negotiations with Ace Hardware already.
At this point, if Paco's Tacos bought us out it would be a step up.

Am not hoping amazon takes over. Am saying Marvin has set the table for it and it will ruin countless careers.

any deal between amazon and lowes should most definitely be broken up. their deal to buy whole foods was already incredibly problematic. home depot would most certainly protest this and rightfully so. i love all those amazon homers out there that ignore their abuses of employees and monopoly practices. hey you might save a few bucks along the way...of course until they literally own the entire retail landscape and can jack their prices up as high as they want. oh wait...his appetites go far beyond retail.....bezos is forging his path into healthcare and health insurance too. eventually we will all be slaves on the amazon plantation. time to start enforcing the laws against monopolies, and not just on ole bezos.
If you think things are bad now, just wait until Amazon owns us. Bezos is a slave driver and expects nothing less than perfection. I have friends that work for Amazon (Whole Foods, Prime delivery driver, and distribution center) and who are trying to get jobs at Lowe's; that's how bad Amazon is.
