The restructuring of the 1990s I believe to get rid of middle management cause more greed for the top. Then the lowly employees got their part time min.wage which ment more for the top. Was that the greed and the down fall of the companies that Sam Walton may of been referring to? Or was the down fall of all these businesses was just no customers? No customers no business. Customers first. No employees do the work yourself.

Greed? Like stealing already earned sick hours from your employees? And just a few short years later cutting down PTO accruel rates? Expecting everyone to work major holidays for normal pay? How about never giving anyone a raise? And no, 2% isn't a raise, it doesn't even match inflation. LOL What a great place to work, no wonder everyone does the absolute minimum for this company.
Greed- At will employment. There was a time where you had to have a very good reason to get rid of an employee. Now Wal-Mart writes on there papers this not a guarantee of employment. What are we signing?
They say it is lonely at the top well it is even lonelyier at the bottom.
What is the lowest paid job at Wal mart? Job elimination? Or severance pay?
Pride is getting in the way of my sleep so I am going to quit posting.
Greed can be referred to as restructuring!!!!!!
Greed is eliminating jobs when there is no need. Greed is taking away loyalty and bringing in new for lower pay. That is why the would have hiring freezes to keep who they had at what they had. Not elimnating. Greed as Sam Walton referred to in his book would be the dust of them.

Everything you learn in school is not right. CEO what did you learn in business school? Do time prove your business school theories wrong? Live and learn. Or did we live and NOT learn?
